About Jayne

Light Touch Healing Therapies is Jayne Leak's independent complementary and alternative health practice based in central Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. UK

Before coming into the healing work, Jayne had a long career in finance spanning 20 years; Qualified ACCA accountant, supporting small to medium size and AIM listed companies and charities. Also worked for a number of charities. So, yes first hand experience of corporate workload, politics and stress!

However, from a young age I knew there was 'something' active in my hands and acknowledged a special sensitivity for others emotional needs and physical pain, with compassion.

My life's journey has had tumultuous periods and in my late 30’s, culminated into a major health crises; out of all the crud and debris, I very gradually, re-emerged healed; and something transformational had happened to me; it was more than just a physical restoration. The main therapy that was key to healing was Craniosacral Therapy. And unlike some other complimentary services, the change was also lasting, so today, my outlook and relationships are fluidic, life is ‘at ease’ and I have a deep gratitude.

Modus operandi - working together!

I am not a healer. Of course, I have skills and tools and work diligently in helping the healing process; but it is in collaboration with you and your body. Physical contact and how the treatment unfolds is something we continually negotiate. You are an active participant in the process.

I know there is no place to go with your grief other than to feel it and ride it like a raft until that rough sea brings you to a strange, familiar shore that is both where you have been and entirely new. I know nothing I can say will ease the pain beneath your breathing right now. We can only gain strength from sharing our experience, without second-guessing any of it, just putting what we have been through into the small fire between us that has kept us warm for years. I want to walk that path less path together; through grief and death and faith and the mystery that lives beneath fairness and unfairness. It is beyond understanding and beyond all mapmaking. We can only climb our way like those before us into a clearing that begs for our acceptance if we are to know any peace. This mysterious path doesn't remove the grief or the pain, but somehow, like a knife dropped in the sea, our grief and pain lose their edge. Just know that you are both alone and not alone. Though I can't go with you to the cliff of all you feel inside, I am near.

Qualities

If you find yourself feeling vulnerable and suffering, very much now, in this moment, be kind to yourself and don't delay getting yourself a treatment. Rest assured, I have a heart filled with compassion, and pass no judgements on you, not one of your shared thoughts, emotions or behaviours.
No matter how bad you're feeling, I will encourage you to stay in control of your life. So that means I will never tell you what to do. My integrity in service means that if I see that I can't be the best person to help resolve your difficulties, I may recommend you to a more specialist therapist or a more specific treatment that will give you the "best punch for for your buck!" Honesty assured.

BSc from University College London. Speech Communication. 2009
Reached level two in Usui Reiki. (Initiated in the use of symbols for distance healing) 2015-2017.
